A cultural center on Denmans Island in Brewerton, New York, designed around community gathering and Onondaga heritage. Waterfront public space, a sheltered threshold, and a sequence of gathering rooms connect the building to its landscape.

The site plan and sections trace the relationship between the island’s topography, approach paths, and waterfront spaces.

Sectional studies explore the pitched roof, stepped seating, and connections between interior gathering spaces and the sheltered entrance.
