AIA Brooklyn Leadership
As a coordinator for the inaugural 2026 AIA Brooklyn Emerging Professional Friendly Firm Award (EPFF), I support outreach, nominations, evaluation criteria, and review coordination. The program recognizes architecture firms that invest in mentorship, licensure support, professional development, and emerging-professional leadership. For Brooklyn NOW!, I supported exhibition installation, spatial coordination, and programming at Brooklyn Public Library. Through the BK|EP MAP studio, I led high-school students in reading DUMBO through observation, interviews, movement mapping, and a collective site model.

Studio Lead
A mentorship studio introducing high school students to architectural research in DUMBO, Brooklyn, through site observation, movement mapping, interviews, and public-life analysis. As Studio Lead, I developed workshops, led site visits and design reviews, mentored students, and designed and fabricated a shared site model for analysis and final presentations.

Emerging Professional Friendly Firm Award

I serve as a program coordinator for AIA Brooklyn’s Emerging Professional Friendly Firm Award. The program recognizes architecture firms that support emerging professionals through mentorship, licensure support, professional development, and opportunities to participate in leadership and project work.
The inaugural 2026 program is an initiative of the AIA Brooklyn Emerging Professionals Committee.
The award evaluates four areas: licensure support, professional development, workplace culture and communication, and leadership and project involvement. It recognizes practices that help emerging professionals build lasting careers in architecture.
